Abstract
Objective: This study seeks to establish the benefits of Thoracic Thrust Manipulation and Mobilization on chronic mechanical neck pain patients by examining positive changes in their posture, physical functioning and degree of neck pain.

Method: Three women with chronic mechanical neck pain patients participated in this study. Three times per week for a period of four weeks the three patients participated in fifty-minute sessions of physical therapy program. The program consisted of modality and thoracic thrust manipulation and exercise. The patients¡¯ posture, range of motion, muscle strengthening, pulmonary function, and degree of neck pain were measured both pre- and post-training using the (CROM basic)goniometer, spirometer, NDI and NPRS. stabilazer pressure biofeedback unit.

Results: After the four weeks of study, the CROM basic showed a increase of the cervical range of motion in all participants , and the NDI and NPRS, spirometer, stabilizer results were globally positive.

Conclusion: The study results demonstrate that thoracic manipulation and mobilization does improve pain, range of motion, deep muscle strength, pulmonary function, physical functioning and that it could indeed be an effective intervention for mechanical neck pain.
